Can I pay monthly?
Individual Researcher subscriptions are available for CHF 49/month or CHF 490/year. Research Lab and commercial plans are annual subscriptions. Research Labs can be paid by card or invoice. Institutional and commercial agreements are typically invoiced.
What is the difference between Academia and Biotech / Pharma plans?
Academia pricing is designed for researchers and labs. Biotech / Pharma pricing reflects OVAITY as commercial scientific R&D infrastructure, with commercial-use rights, stronger governance, and annual invoiced subscriptions.
When should I move from Researcher to Research Lab?
When you need shared projects, a lab workspace, team collaboration, shared scientific memory, or PI / lab oversight. Multiple Researcher subscriptions are not a substitute for a Research Lab workspace.
What if our Research Lab needs more than 5 researchers?
Stay on Research Lab. The plan includes 5 researchers, and additional researchers are CHF 1,000 / year each — so pricing scales linearly without forcing an institutional upgrade.
What if our biotech team grows beyond 3 researchers?
Stay on Biotech Starter. The plan includes 3 active researchers, and additional researchers are CHF 3,500 / year each. Upgrade to R&D Team when you need stronger governance, auditability, and team-level capabilities — not simply because you hired one more researcher.
When is Institution the right fit?
When you need organizational complexity — multiple lab workspaces, cross-lab governance, centralized administration, SSO, or institutional procurement — not simply one additional researcher.
How does capacity scale beyond the included plan?
